Monday 16 November 2015, 7pm at Pukekohe East School.
You’re Invited! Bus Society AGM
Calling all bus parents. Please come to the Pukekohe East School Bus Society AGM on Monday night, 23rd February, at 7pm in the school hall.
We’ll quickly cover how the bus society operates. Then we’ll vote for a new executive team, and bounce around ideas for bus trip fundraisers.
We’re the only school in New Zealand fortunate to have our own cooperatively-owned school bus. Our school bus gets no government funding.
Nearly seventy kids use the bus to get to or from school. If your children are using the bus please come to the meeting to show your support for our unique bus service and the parent volunteers who keep it going.
Bus society meetings are fun. They are a great way to meet other parents and everyone welcomes new ideas. We hope to see lots of new faces on Monday night.
Annual General Meeting 23 February 2015
Notice of Annual General Meeting of the Pukekohe East School Bus Society.
Monday 23rd February 2015 at 7pm at Pukekohe East School.
The purpose of the meeting is to elect an executive team to manage and direct the business of the Pukekohe East School Bus Society.
All school bus families are encouraged to attend.
How the Bus Society Works
Families who pay bus fees are members of the bus society and have the right to vote at bus society general meetings. Each year at the Annual General Meeting, the members elect an executive team to manage and direct the business of the bus society. The executive team elects its own chairman.
Reminder: Bus Route Review Tonight 7pm
The Bus Route Review meeting is taking place tonight, Tuesday 2 December, at 7pm in the Pukekohe East School hall. At tonight’s Bus Route Review the bus society Executive members will explain the proposed 2015 school bus route and answer any questions. Click here to view the proposed 2015 bus route map and timetable. In particular we will discuss two possible extensions to the bus route: Jericho Road and a new stop on Valley Road (near Ridge Road). If you would like either extension included please attend tonight’s meeting to show your commitment. We need to be confident of passenger numbers, both morning and afternoon, to decide these possible extensions.
