‘Twas the last day of school, when all through the land;
Many creatures were grazing, as the school bus whizzed past;
The decorations were hung from the luggage racks with care;
Because on the school bus today Santa was there,
The children were nestled all snug in their seats;
While visions of prizes danced in their heads!
Today our fabulous drivers Gail and Debbie gave the kids a fun finale bus ride to end the school year. The school bus sleigh was decorated with tinsel and balloons, and Santa caught a lift. The kids enjoyed competitions, singing and spot prizes on their way home.
Gail and Debbie, thank you for delighting our children. The bus society is very lucky to have you. Thanks also to Gail’s son Kane and Maddie for making special take-home treats. Last but not least, thanks Santa for riding with us.
Special thank you to those parents who attended the Bus Route Review meeting on Tuesday. Below is the finalised bus route timetable and map to take effect from 2nd February 2015.

Valley Road & Family Christian Centre Belgium Road Users:
We have created an alternative bus stop on Valley Road, further down towards Ridge Road. This bus stop caters to families on foot. For parents in cars please continue to use the bus stop at the Family Christian Centre on Belgium Rd which provides ample parking and a safe waiting area for your children.
Member Application Form:
In accordance with the Pukekohe East School Bus Society Constitution all families must sign a member application form to use the bus. If you plan to use the bus in 2015 can you please complete the member application form and return it to the school office before 17 December. This will allow us time to update our onboard emergency contact list to be current for the first day of operation next year.
The Bus Route Review meeting is taking place tonight, Tuesday 2 December, at 7pm in the Pukekohe East School hall. At tonight’s Bus Route Review the bus society Executive members will explain the proposed 2015 school bus route and answer any questions. Click here to view the proposed 2015 bus route map and timetable. In particular we will discuss two possible extensions to the bus route: Jericho Road and a new stop on Valley Road (near Ridge Road). If you would like either extension included please attend tonight’s meeting to show your commitment. We need to be confident of passenger numbers, both morning and afternoon, to decide these possible extensions.
