The Bus Society’s final fundraiser for the year is the very popular Christmas raffle. We will send raffle books home in November and host a Casual Dress Day in December before drawing the raffle winners in the last week of term 4. More details will be shared in Skool Loop / Seesaw / upcoming school newsletters. Thanks to Ainsley Polo, Huski, 100% Whangamata, Brandt and the Iron Yard for donating some prizes! Bus fees:
As we embark on term 4, thanks for being diligent with paying bus fees on time. As parent volunteers operating a non-profit service, we rely on our school families and wider community to help with bus operations. For those paying monthly, the last payment is 15 December before school finishes up this year.
Grants and other fundraising updates:
We are pleased to be a recipient of $3,000 in grants from the Four Winds Foundation to go towards bus driver wages. We are truly 100% community funded and cannot thank the Four Winds Foundation, our loyal bus advertisers and the wider Pukekohe community enough.
Save the date: Bus Society meeting on 9 November
The Bus Society meets once per term and all bus families are welcome to attend – a great opportunity to learn more about the bus operations, fundraising, grants and more. The final meeting for the year is 9 November at school.
