Bus Outing Joseph Technicolour Dreamcoat

Get your gladrags on. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is coming to Auckland in April next year and the bus society is considering a bus outing to see the acclaimed show at the Civic Theatre.

Lara Utatao got in quick to hold a group booking of well-appointed A Reserve seats for the 1pm matinee on Saturday 29th of April 2017, which is the last day of the Term 1 school holidays.

The cost would be $110 per person. Includes group-discounted A Reserve show ticket and return bus ride.

It’s some time away and we’d like to gauge interest before committing to the tickets. Those interested please contact Lara Utatao – laraandmark@xtra.co.nz or 021 946 360.

JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

One of the most enduring shows of all time Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is now reinvented for a new generation. With a contemporary twist, the show exudes all the colour, wit and energy of this irresistible family musical.

A joyous retelling of the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven scheming brothers and his coat of many colours, Joseph is a kaleidoscope of catchy songs and colourful dance numbers – Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door to Me and Go Go Go Joseph – parodying various musical styles from rock ‘n’ roll to country and western, French ballad, calypso and jazz. This lavish international production features an outstanding cast.

$2,500 Raised for the School Bus

The bus society’s hypnotist evening raised $2,500 for the Pukekohe East School Bus.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and thank you to the parents who provided baking.

Special thanks to the Reynolds family for their catering assistance, the Newman family for donating the TrailLite motorhome holiday for auction, and the Utatao, Ellery and Ansell families for gifting raffle prizes.

… and a VERY BIG thank you to Gail Schofield for organising the fun event.

Door Sales at Hypnotist Show

The bus society’s hypnosis comedy fundraiser show is tomorrow night.

There will be door sales.

Reminder, please could bus families help out by providing a plate of baking. We’re providing a light supper in the ticket price and home baking will help us to keep our costs down. Baking contributions can be dropped off to Gail in the Resource Room (old Library) today or tomorrow.

EFTPOS will be available. Good idea to bring some coins for our games and raffles. Raffle prizes include a bottle of fine port, Merino Kids Baby Sleep Bag, magazine subscription, Ecoya candles, and more.
