Bus Route Review Meeting 21 November

Reminder to all bus families and new families interested in using the school bus service in 2017.

The proposed 2017 bus route will be presented at the Bus Route Review Meeting on Monday 21 November 2016 at 7pm in the Pukekohe East School hall.

Thank you to the many families who have already given feedback on the bus route.

In a slight alteration to the process the proposed bus route map will not be circulated beforehand.

Dave Upfold Comedy Hypnosis Fundraiser

Well-known comedy stage hypnotist Dave Upfold is coming to Pukekohe East to help out the Pukekohe East School Bus. This is one comedy hypnosis show you really must see.

Dave Upfold’s hilarious hypnosis fundraiser takes place Friday 12th August 8pm at Pukekohe East Hall. Proceeds will go towards the operational funding of our school bus.

As seen on TV3’s Campbell Live programme, Dave Upfold is known for his energetic, engaging and enthralling live shows. Dave’s shows feature audience participation (volunteers only, of course) and utilise the power of the mind and suggestion. With no two shows ever being the same, Dave has been entertaining audiences around the world with his hypnosis comedy show for over 19 successful years.

This event is the Bus Society’s big fundraiser for the year and we need the help of all bus families to spread the word to friends, family, colleagues and neighbours. All welcome.

Tickets cost $40pp and include a light supper. Tickets are available at Pukekohe Travel or buy online at eventfinda.co.nz.

Bus Society Meeting Tomorrow

Reminder: there’s a Bus Society meeting tomorrow night, 7pm Monday 2nd May at Pukekohe East School. This meeting is open to all school families.

2016 Bus Society General Meetings:
Monday 2 May, 7pm at Pukekohe East School
Monday 25 July, 7pm at Pukekohe East School
Monday 10 October, 7pm at Pukekohe East School

Updated Bus Society Constitution

The annual general meeting (AGM) of the Pukekohe East School Bus Society is this coming Monday, 14 March at 7pm in the school hall. Please come along and show your support for the school bus that is such an important part of our school’s identity.

As well as selecting a new four-person executive team for the society, we’ll be voting on an updated constitution. Click here to view the proposed society constitution.

Why are we changing the constitution? The Pukekohe East School Bus Society has been operating for 70 years and some of the early governing rules are not quite as relevant as they once were. At the AGM the outgoing executive will explain the major changes proposed to the constitution and there will be an opportunity to get your questions answered.
