Helpers Needed for Easter Raffle

We’re seeking helpers to assist with making Easter Raffle booklets. It’s an easy job done at home; stapling and numbering tickets, and using a sewing machine to create the perforation.

The bus society’s annual Easter Raffle is a popular event for the kids and an important fundraiser for the school bus. Tickets will be sent home to families in a couple of weeks.

Many hands make light work! Lorraine Horne has kindly offered to lead the charge on the Easter Raffle. Can anyone help her out by making some booklets? If you can lend a hand please contact Lorraine ph 022 390 4570.

Joseph Technicolour Dreamcoat Bus Outing

Reserve your seats. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is coming to Auckland in April and the bus society is taking a busload of families to see the acclaimed show at the Civic Theatre on Saturday 29th of April.

The bus society has secured a group booking of well-appointed A Reserve seats for the 1pm matinee on 29th April 2017, which is the last day of the Term 1 school holidays.

The cost is $110 per person. Includes A Reserve show ticket and return bus ride. To book your seat on the bus trip please contact Lara Utatao – laraandmark@xtra.co.nz or phone 021 946 360.

2017 BUS FEES
Yearly subscription fee of $290 for one child or $550 for two or more children in the same family.

We offer two payment options:

Payment in full by 24/2/17. You can pay by cheque to the school office (please write the cheque to Pukekohe East School Bus Society) or pay by direct debit to the Pukekohe East School Bus Society Bank Account ASB # 123023 0387539 00.
Automatic payment in ten monthly instalments of $29 (one child) or $55 (two or more children), with first payment on 1/3/17 and last payment on 1/12/17.

Call for 2017 Bus Registration Forms

There are a number of outstanding 2017 Bus Registration Forms. You must complete this form if your child is using the school bus, even if you’ve completed a registration form in previous years.

Owing to new health and safety requirements all bus family members must sign the 2017 Bus Registration Form and tick the checkbox acknowledging the Code of Conduct.

The 2017 Bus Registration Form was part of the ‘Welcome Aboard’ bus pack sent home in December last year. If you can’t locate the form click here to download and print a copy. Please return your completed registration form to the school office.

Are you coming? AGM on 13th March 2017

Notice of Pukekohe East School Bus Society Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday 13th March 2017 at 7pm in the Pukekohe East School hall.

The objective of the meeting is the presentation and approval of Pukekohe East School Bus Society accounts followed by the election of executive officers including Secretary, Treasurer, Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.

Thank you to those parents who attended last night’s bus society meeting to show their support and share ideas. We had a record turnout. We hope to see even more bus family members at the AGM on 13th March. Just by turning up to the AGM you’ll be helping out as we need to meet quorum requirements under the constitution.
