Call for 2017 Bus Registration Forms

There are a number of outstanding 2017 Bus Registration Forms. You must complete this form if your child is using the school bus, even if you’ve completed a registration form in previous years.

Owing to new health and safety requirements all bus family members must sign the 2017 Bus Registration Form and tick the checkbox acknowledging the Code of Conduct.

The 2017 Bus Registration Form was part of the ‘Welcome Aboard’ bus pack sent home in December last year. If you can’t locate the form click here to download and print a copy. Please return your completed registration form to the school office.

Are you coming? AGM on 13th March 2017

Notice of Pukekohe East School Bus Society Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday 13th March 2017 at 7pm in the Pukekohe East School hall.

The objective of the meeting is the presentation and approval of Pukekohe East School Bus Society accounts followed by the election of executive officers including Secretary, Treasurer, Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.

Thank you to those parents who attended last night’s bus society meeting to show their support and share ideas. We had a record turnout. We hope to see even more bus family members at the AGM on 13th March. Just by turning up to the AGM you’ll be helping out as we need to meet quorum requirements under the constitution.

Bus Society Meeting 7pm Tonight

Don’t forget there is a meeting of the Pukekohe East School Bus Society tonight – Monday 13 February 2017 – at 7pm in the hall at Pukekohe East School.

The school bus service relies on parent volunteers. If you rely on the bus service please attend the bus meeting tonight and share in decision-making and ideas for 2017.

Bus meetings are convened once a school term; it’s not a huge investment of time. Involvement in the bus society is a great way to meet other parents and help the school community.

Families who pay bus fees are members of the bus society and are collectively responsible for the operation and maintenance of the school bus. Recently the responsibility has fallen on a small group of parents who have taken the time to attend bus meetings and get involved. Of the small group of parents involved in running the bus service, some long-serving members are stepping down this term. It’s time for others to step up and lend a hand. We hope to welcome lots of new faces at tonight’s meeting.

Gail’s Glorious Grotto

Gail has done it again, delighting the kids on their last day of school with a Christmas sleigh bus ride. In Gail’s impressive grotto of fairy light magic was Santa who led the Christmas songs. The bus decorations, lolly scramble, prizes and a lucky dip for each child … super fun. Thank you Gail, Mel and Marie. You are Santastic!
