Easter Raffle Items Due Tomorrow

Bus Society Easter Raffle ticket books and donated Easter hamper items are due tomorrow, Friday 7th April.

We are asking for a donation per child of one of the following items: Easter eggs, other chocolate, wine, crackers, chutney, biscuits, chocolate sauces or any other yummy Easter treats.

The Easter Raffle will be drawn at whole school assembly on Thursday 13th April. There is a prize for the family that sells the most tickets and also the class that sells the most tickets.

Money raised from the Easter Raffle will go towards the operational costs of the school bus.

Our thanks to Lorraine Horne for organising the Easter Raffle this year with help from Kim Wallace.

Bus Bash Planning Meeting Monday

Plans are afoot for a Bus Bash fundraising event in October and all bus parents are welcome and encouraged to join the Bus Bash organising committee. Our 2014 Bus Bash was wildly successful and we’re shooting for an equally successful repeat. The Bus Bash organising committee is meeting at 7pm on Monday 10th April at school. Please come along to the meeting on Monday and get involved if you can. Many hands make light work.

Helpers Needed for Easter Raffle

We’re seeking helpers to assist with making Easter Raffle booklets. It’s an easy job done at home; stapling and numbering tickets, and using a sewing machine to create the perforation.

The bus society’s annual Easter Raffle is a popular event for the kids and an important fundraiser for the school bus. Tickets will be sent home to families in a couple of weeks.

Many hands make light work! Lorraine Horne has kindly offered to lead the charge on the Easter Raffle. Can anyone help her out by making some booklets? If you can lend a hand please contact Lorraine ph 022 390 4570.

Bus Outing Joseph Technicolour Dreamcoat

Get your gladrags on. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is coming to Auckland in April next year and the bus society is considering a bus outing to see the acclaimed show at the Civic Theatre.

Lara Utatao got in quick to hold a group booking of well-appointed A Reserve seats for the 1pm matinee on Saturday 29th of April 2017, which is the last day of the Term 1 school holidays.

The cost would be $110 per person. Includes group-discounted A Reserve show ticket and return bus ride.

It’s some time away and we’d like to gauge interest before committing to the tickets. Those interested please contact Lara Utatao – laraandmark@xtra.co.nz or 021 946 360.
