Farmers Santa Parade Bus Trip Cancelled

Unfortunately we didn’t get the numbers we needed for the bus trip to the Farmers Santa Parade in downtown Auckland. Too busy this time of year for everyone. The trip is cancelled.

Not to worry, the local Pukekohe Christmas Parade is taking place on Sunday 6th December. The theme for this year’s parade is ‘Now and Then – 150 Years of Pukekohe’. Keep an eye out for our Farmer Jock school bus in the parade!

Farmers Santa Parade Here We Come

Avoid parking hassle and ride the school bus to the Farmers Santa Parade in downtown Auckland on Sunday 29th November. Carefree, fun travel with fellow parents and classmates.

The school bus will depart school at 11am, returning approximately 5pm. This allows us time to get into the city before road closures and stay on for Santa’s Party in Aotea Square.

The Farmers Santa Parade starts at 1pm and features all the amazing pageantry, fun and surprises that have made this annual extravaganza a perennial favourite. Santa’s Party takes place after the parade with cool rides, yummy food and awesome giveaways.

Bus fare: $10 child return, $20 adult return, and $50 family return (2 adults and 2 kids).

How to book: Add your name to the booking form at the school office or post a comment below to reserve your seats.

Flock together to fund Totara Courtyard

There’s still time to sponsor your beautiful native bird sculpture for the redesigned Totara Courtyard at Pukekohe East School.

Each bird costs $50 and is crafted from quality corten steel by respected local sculptor James Wright. The birds collectively will form an artistic flock and beautify the courtyard.

Importantly, by sponsoring a bird you’ll be helping to fund the courtyard makeover.

Your child’s name or family name can be engraved at the base of the bird as a lasting reminder of your time at Pukekohe East School. Picture your grown-up kids visiting their bird long after they have flown the nest.

Nativebirds

Choose from Fantails, Kingfishers, Tuis and Kererus. Don’t miss out on this special win-win opportunity to help the school and create a family legacy.
