We are so incredibly grateful to all the generous businesses, local community and school families who supported our 80s glitz and glam bus bingo fundraising event on the weekend!
The generous donations have helped us to create a fantastic lineup of bingo, raffle and auction prizes and experiences, and your support means the world to our school community. We had a full house of guests in their 80s outfits (sequins, neon, glitter, wigs, side pony tails and more!) enjoying a night of music bingo, pizza, grazing platters and drinks.
All your generosity has made a real difference. Preliminary numbers for the fundraising is $4,100 raised! Every dollar goes towards keeping the Pukekohe East School Bus running in it’s 80th year.
Thank you for helping us make this event a success—we couldn’t do it without you!
Bus Timetable/Route for Term 2 The school bus service will commence on Monday 20 April for the start of Term 2.
Unfortunately the Cape Hill Roadworks is still in progress so we will stick to the current route as per our website for the first week of term 2: https://pukekoheeastschoolbus.org/route/
We will notify bus families towards the end of the first week if we are able to revert back to the original timetable/route.

Easter raffle success Thanks to everyone who sold tickets for the Easter raffle – we were thrilled with the yummy treats and donations (there were some cute easter bunny figurines etc.). The total raised was $2,550! Every cent goes towards keeping our bus fees as low as possible and to help with bus operations so thanks for all the mahi.

We welcome any feedback and if you have any concerns and questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Bus Society on admin@pukekoheeastschoolbus.org
We would love to see as many bus families as possible attend the Pukekohe East School Bus Society AGM.
Our Society has a proud history of running a dedicated school bus since 1946 – which makes this year the 80th Anniversary! It is one of only two school bus services run in this way across the country. Over many years the bus has provided a great service taking children to and from school along with many school events.
The agenda includes:
Recap of minutes from last year’s AGM
Chairperson’s Annual Report
Statement of Accounts and Treasurer’s Annual Report
Voting and re-election of committee members: Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary
Ratify Bus Society as part of 2022 Incorporated Societies Act
Update on bus operations and fundraising
Future plans
Encouraging more society members to join
General business
The Society has a wonderful group of dedicated parents on the committee and members that are very keen to keep our bus service running – but we need your help. Come to the AGM to hear more!
There is no school bus service on Fri 6 Feb 2026 due to Waitangi Day. The school bus service will commence on Mon 09 Feb 2026 as per the current bus timetable.
