Bus Society | Term 1 2025 update

Happy new year – we hope you’re enjoying the school holidays and are looking forward to Term 1!

The school bus is ready for first day of term (check out our website for the bus route)! Note we have a few more spots available so if there are any school families that would like to use the bus this year, feel free to sign up here: https://pukekoheeastschoolbus.org/register/

πŸ“’Important dates
Every term, we host a Bus Society committee meeting at the school that school families are more than welcome to attend! Dates are below, along with our annual general meeting. We also have a date for our fundraiser in June.

Update: Bus Service for next week w/c 21 October 2024

Thanks for your patience regarding the maintenance of the school bus.

The parts we were waiting on have arrived but our servicing company needs a bit more time to do the installation and requires a final check at VTNZ as the COF is also due for the bus so we are ticking off a few things at the same time.

We are anticipating the bus to be operating from Wednesday 23 October onwards (if the bus will be ready earlier we will post on Whatsapp and send an email asap).

However please make your own transport arrangements for Monday and Tuesday next week. If you need assistance with drop offs / pickups, please post on the Whatsapp group or message the Bus Society directly.

If you haven’t already applied for a refund or credit as per the first week of term 4, check your email for the form to complete.

No bus first week of Term 4 (14 – 18 October 2024)

Our apologies that the bus won’t be operating in the first week of term 4 (Monday 14 October to Friday 18 October inclusive).

As part of our routine bus maintenance that we conduct over school holidays, we are unfortunately still waiting for a bus part to come in, which won’t arrive until next week.

Please make arrangements for school drop off/pick up in the first week of term 4. If you need assistance with drop offs / pickups, please post on the Whatsapp group or message Angely from the Bus Society directly. Please also check your email for info on how to apply for a refund for the first week.
