Farmer Jock cartoons back on the bus

A huge thank you to the Community Organisation Grants Scheme (COGS) Papakura / Franklin Committee and to Charlene and Steve of ISA Services for the funding and installation of the Farmer Jock cartoons on our school bus.

The late David Henshaw kindly granted Pukekohe East School permission to use his iconic Farmer Jock cartoon characters. We are grateful to the Henshaw family for their ongoing support. The cartoon images are © T D Henshaw Arts Trust, 2018.

Annual General Meeting – all bus families welcome

Monday 16th February 2026, 7pm – 8pm

@ Pukekohe East School

We would love to see as many bus families as possible attend the Pukekohe East School Bus Society AGM.

Our Society has a proud history of running a dedicated school bus since 1946 – which makes this year the 80th Anniversary! It is one of only two school bus services run in this way across the country. Over many years the bus has provided a great service taking children to and from school along with many school events.

The agenda includes:

✔️Statement of Accounts and Treasurer’s Annual Report

✔️Voting and re-election of committee members: Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary

The Society has a wonderful group of dedicated parents on the committee and members that are very keen to keep our bus service running – but we need your help. Come to the AGM to hear more!
