Singin’ in the Rain for Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day, Sunday 10th May, our school bus is heading to Singin’ in the Rain at the Civic Theatre, downtown Auckland. There’s room for you on board to experience this world-class musical coming to New Zealand.

Pukekohe Travel has secured great seats and is offering a combined show and coach package for $115 pp. Our school bus being the mode of transport and departing Pukekohe at 11.30am for a 1pm matinee show.

Great timing as a Mother’s Day present. Get a group of mums together or treat Grandma. Children welcome.

We are grateful to Pukekohe Travel for contracting our school bus. The bus portion of the ticket price is going to the Pukekohe East School Bus Society to help fund the school bus service.

Among a host of sensational song and dance numbers, the iconic Singin’ in the Rain dance sequence is flawlessly recreated – with the help of 12,000 litres of water!

Musical star Bethany Dickson, who recently performed as Maria in The Sound of Music, returns to the stage together with Grant Almirall who triumphed in the role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys. 

With its joyous story and sumptuous set design and costumes, Singin’ in the Rain showers you with everything you could wish for in a hit musical.

You’re welcome to jump aboard the bus at Pukekohe East School (departing 10.30am) or catch the bus from any of the other locations. Free Shuttle from School to Taste Franklin Festival

Pukekohe East School’s Farmer Jock Bus has been hired as the official shuttle for the Taste Franklin Festival taking place this coming Saturday 21st March from 11am to 6pm at Karaka Sports Park (corner of Linwood Rd and Blackbridge Rd).

The Taste Franklin Festival is an event to showcase and savour the great foods and beverages produced in the Franklin region. Ideal for foodies and families. Enjoy local produce, brews and wines, restaurant dishes, live music, kids entertainment, with celebrity chefs and more. Festival tickets can be purchased on the day at the gate. Kids are free and welcome to attend with a supervising adult.

Our school bus is contracted as the complimentary shuttle service for the community. Festival-goers in Pukekohe, Patumahoe, Waiuku and Karaka can catch a free ride to the event and back.

School families are welcome to jump aboard the bus at Pukekohe East School. The bus departs school on Saturday at 10.30am arriving at the festival 11am, and returns to school approximately 6pm.
