Hopping Good Time on School Bus

The Easter Bunny was sighted today driving the school bus and the lucky children on board have Easter goodie bags to prove it.

The Easter-themed bus ride was 100% Gail’s doing. Gail decorated the bus, made the goodie bags (hours of her own time) and donned bunny ears for the kids’ enjoyment.

Gail, a BIG THANKS from the Bus Society. Thank you for treating our kids to a very special fun bus ride. They had a hopping good time!

Singin’ in the Rain for Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day, Sunday 10th May, our school bus is heading to Singin’ in the Rain at the Civic Theatre, downtown Auckland. There’s room for you on board to experience this world-class musical coming to New Zealand.

Pukekohe Travel has secured great seats and is offering a combined show and coach package for $115 pp. Our school bus being the mode of transport and departing Pukekohe at 11.30am for a 1pm matinee show.

Great timing as a Mother’s Day present. Get a group of mums together or treat Grandma. Children welcome.

We are grateful to Pukekohe Travel for contracting our school bus. The bus portion of the ticket price is going to the Pukekohe East School Bus Society to help fund the school bus service.

If you enjoyed The Sound of Music you’ll love this outing too; a relaxed bus ride with friends and convenient drop-off outside the theatre. No parking hassle, no parking cost, and ideal for grandmothers who prefer not to walk far!

There are 15 spaces remaining so be quick to get your tickets from Pukekohe Travel at 89 King Street, or contact Lisa Wharfe.

Singin' in the RainFrom the producers of The Sound of Music, Annie and Jersey Boys, comes another critically acclaimed production from a sell-out season in London’s West End – the ever-popular musical Singin’ in the Rain is set to make a splash in New Zealand.

This spectacular show is packed full of the charm, romance, comedy and tinseltown glamour of one of the world’s best-loved movies and tells the story of the first Hollywood musical.
